Questions about SENT

How does this check differ from a SENT code search?

The CN code is only the first step. The obligation also depends on the mass or volume of the consignment, the direction of carriage, the type of transaction, the customs procedure, the excise document, the packaging and the origin of the goods. The tool asks for these data and shows which rule decided.

Who sends the SENT notification?

For carriage starting in Poland the consignor (form SENT100), for carriage into Poland the consignee (SENT200), for carriage through Poland between other countries the carrier (SENT300). The carrier completes the notification and provides SENT-GEO, the driver must have the reference number.

Can I check a past carriage?

Yes. Enter the date the carriage started and we calculate the result under the rules of that day. Transitional provisions require the old wording to be applied to carriages started before a change.

Is the result binding?

No. It is information with its legal basis, not legal advice. Where the rules do not settle something, we say so and suggest verification with an expert.
